About me

Senior backend engineer with 5+ years building critical, scalable systems for high-availability environments: Node.js, TypeScript, Elixir, Postgres, event-driven architectures on AWS.

Self-taught, still training. This site is the slow internet: notes I actually finished, projects that are still running, and a shrine to a ninja cartoon I have not grown out of.

Three rules

1. Less is more. Premature optimization solves a problem that does not exist yet; the basics keep working.
2. Write it down. RFCs and ADRs cost an hour and save a quarter.
3. Discipline over talent. Consistency compounds; bursts do not.

It's not about being the best. It's about training every day until the impossible becomes a habit.
